AUTOMOTIVE Requirements Engineering for Embedded Systems

The goal of this project is both the methodically continuous as well as the tool technical continuous design of the development process for embedded systems in the early phase of system development. The project AUTOMOTIVE develops solutions in the field of process model definition, the adaptation of notation and tool integration.

CHANGESYS Adaptable systems to support order processing

Adaptable systems to support order processing, support of changes to inner and industry wide order processing through  flexible IT- systems. A methodology to migrate from business economic logistic and software technical structures, which contain user instructions to documentation, evaluations and procedures for migrations as well as supporting the development of adaptable ERP-systems.

COMPENG  Component Engineering in Life Cycle

The matter at hand is the relative worth of software components and software development processes in the whole software life cycle. To lengthen the life cycle of software products an architectural model is developed to integrate different software components on a given platform.

HRS Architecture and layout of hybrid real-time systems.

The goal of HRS is to provide a continual, tool supporting developmental process for hybrid, shared real-time systems, which are mapped after two problem adapted SW-standard architectures. Given the complexity and scope of the application, this is always either library based or grouped in an active real-time databank and uses software components at need.

MECHASOFT Integrated development of easy access mechatronic systems.

The goal of this project is the conception and technical support of a integrated developmental process for complex mechatronic systems. The emphasis is placed on bringing the development of mechanics, sequential control, and malfunction repair as well as a continual usage of developed models on parallel lines.

SOFTNET Service Engineering for Soft Networking

In the project SOFTNET new methods of software engineering are developed for current forms of communication and computer networks. The focus of the project work are techniques for services and the networking of distributed and mobile systems and components in a heterogeneous environment.

ZEN Center for technology, methodology and management of software and system development.

The individual projects are supported by the use of the FORSOFT methodology. In addition the methodology of FORSOFT is constantly being adapted to meet new challenges and important international developments, such as expansion into the fields of strategy and management.
